- “PostPet” is firstly launched as a mail delivery software since 1997 and has extended to mobile services in 2004 and web-mail in October 2005 respectively.
This software contained 10 different pets which will help their owners to deliver mail on behalf of themselves. In Japan people can make use of it as an e-mail software, but they can also take care of it like a real pet by feeding, washing etc.
Since November 1997, this software packages have been distributed for more than 1.2 million pcs in Japan already. In addition, it was also pre-installed to major brands for handle and it is still growing now.
