- The present invention relates to a device for enhancing quality of standing water of outdoor water storage reservoirs, particularly hypertrophic and eutrophic ponds with low water transparency. The invention is characterized in that an a closed floating body (1) of translucent material is situated in a storage reservoir such that the body (1) protrudes by its shorter portion above the level (2) and the longer portion thereof is submerged below the level (2), whereby the maximal dimension (x) of the body (1) in vertical direction is at least the double of the maximal dimension (y) of the body (1) in horizontal direction.
